Roseate Spoonbill

Description

This beautiful bird is a rather new visitor to the islands of South Carolina. I expect the climate change has caused a shift in its behavior and causing it to come further north. The bird was perched in a crepe mrytle tree and the sun shown through her wings in beautiful color. The morning dew is still showing on her bill.
