Monarch Release

Description

I had the pleasure of raising 8 monarch butterfly from their tiny state as an egg, to a little caterpillar to a chrysalis and then emerging as a beautiful butterfly. An endangered species, I am trying to do my part in saving some of the caterpillars that I find on my milkweed plant. Since the initial release in May, I have released one lone butterfly and have a dozen caterpillars and chrysalis in a container, soon to be released.
